Fakers’ Guide to Haseena Atom Bomb – Part 1
I had been away from the blogging for a bit now. Im trying to change that, and Im coming back with a blog post format which I enjoyed doing the most, even though it was the most hectic, and the most excruciating thing to pull off. Presenting another edition from the “Faker’s Guide To..” series of … umm… comics.

Haseena Atom Bomb is considered one of the trashtastic trash masterpiece of trash-normous scale. It was originally released in 1990, in Pashto. It was then re-released, with Urdu dubbing, later on. It starred Musarrat Shaheen and Badar Munir, arguably two of the biggest Pashto movie stars there ever been. A few people have tried to write on the movie,particularly Memsaab blog and @FourDK from twitter

i can’t begin to believe how good this is. like fuck man, there was so much expectation as soon as i saw haseena atom bomb, and you’ve literally taken it to the hilt. the noori concert, the fucking tibet talcum powder zoom in, the obligatory timey-whimey, the ‘one unfortunate rape scene later’, the BLOODY GIFs!!!

and this is before we even move on to the film itself. it’s amazing how in one way, a pakistani film can only be told in a combination of several pre-written scenarios: the girl has to show a hot side, but phir sharam, there are flashbacks, there are unfortunate deaths, there is violence, there is dance, there are desires which are seemingly impossible to tame but which are then ‘gladly’ repressed through social norms, and there are always rapists.
